This seems like another vital option for the eheim feeder. Some other forums on this site people have it dropping pellets over their return pump. I'll try that this afternoon.

+1. This is the design that I was thinking about when I previously posted the link to the feeding station. I have used them both and, while they both work, I like this design better because the food sinks further down into the water before it encounters lateral flow.
