For some reason while I have been on vacation I have thought about my aquarium and have been getting excited about making a few changes, doing a little work, and adding some new fish.

Is it the time of year or is it just me? :nerd:

When we go on vacation I find myself checking out all the LFS where ever we go. Its a sickness! It also gives me ideas like you mentioned.

Not sure if I'm more excited about the forums or the tank...:(
I know this much... I spend 3 times the amount of time on forums then I do on my tank... Lol

I find that I feel a letdown after completing a build. When I am designing and building I am really in to it.

I'm getting excited now that it's getting cold out... a few water changes are planned to get the tank somewhat in shape for the winter months... :)

for me,it's more exciting while I'm building the system....coral and fish are just so expensive that it sucks all the excitement out of the stocking process for me,but I love to just sit and watch my tank.....it's usually after a 12hr day at work that I get to just sit and watch it while relaxing after dinner.....I normally fall asleep, but not from boredom though

Im super excited!!! I just moved it from tampa to sarasota. I changed the background from blue to black to get more pop out of the corals and I added a slightly thicker sand to stop PO'ing my corals from getting sand in their mouths... yuck. Everything made it and actually everything is coloring up better than ever, I guess it needed a good cleaning and new sand bed.

Recently I've been a born again reefer! really enjoying obtaining high end pieces again, the magic is back LOL

I have no clue what your talking about.... It's not like I have built every shape and design possible... Not like I have went threw 6 tanks in 2yrs it anything... lol!!!!!

With my current tank, everything's running fine and great. Then I get real excited about a change I want to do that is actually warranted. Then the wife gets un-excited.. which leads to you being sad panda. It's a vicious cycle people, I tell ya! ;)

I hate my new tank.

You always make me laugh Kray!

I'm getting the bug to upgrade. The daunting task of moving everything from old to new tank just sucks but it would be nice to have more space for my bigger tangs to swim. I've got a 150g tall AGA and it is mostly SPS. MY LFS has a good deal on a Marineland 300G Deep Dimensions tank (72"x36"x27"). It would give so many options for aquascaping, more fish, etc. I just don't know if it would be too much to care for.

For those of you with bigger tanks, I would assume that going from a 150g to a 300g would be twice the work - am I correct about that?

I'm really ready to get my aquarium built and setup....couple more months

I'm pretty darn excited about my aquarium. It's been set up for a good couple months now but i'm not sure it'll ever be "done" so I don't see myself getting too bored. I should probably stop messing with everything as much as I do but it's just so much fun!

I'm excited to make my little upgrade from my 30g to a 40b. I need the extra 6 inches of width. Corals have no place to go and are beginning to fight.

Good looking 30b Butts! Everything looks VERY healthy!

yep, excitement set in as soon as I made the decision to return to the hobby...and the issues with the other half....*sigh*...we'll both have to come to a decision on which is more important, food, bills, tank...bills/food/tank....tank/bills/food/...tank/bills/tank...tank/tank/tank...uh oh, here it goes again....help!!! LOL Been away from the tank for three weeks and get to go home on Friday and can't wait...wonder if they'll let me push the plane? C'mon you lazy pilots, fly faster!
