Anybody have feedback on PO4X4

I have been running this for 3 weeks now. P04 read .06ppm when I first started, three days later it read .01ppm. Two weeks later p04 was at 0.00ppm. This stuff works great and takes nothing at all to tumble. The only problem is the media, it's very fine. When used with TLF reactor it will go through the foam easily, so flow needs to be carefully adjusted. Also might be a good idea to install a check valve on the line going to the reactor. I turned off my pump which caused a back syphon and the media got all over my sump!

Don't forget the stuff can be reused 6 times with the washing soda stuff . It removes phos quickly but seems to saturate just as quick . I put mine back in the bag until I can figure a way to not feed a sump with it . It does not require any rinsing at all but the tiny media is a pain . I wonder if it works well in a JNS reactor ?

I think I put too much in my reactor. Ever since I reloaded it my zoas have not been looking good. But hey it could be something else.

Switched back to the BRS HC GFO after I finished off my bag. Didn't see a noticeable difference. Maybe it's just me.

Same here, I'm using BRS GFO now. Curious about the HC GFO, does it tumble just as good as granules?

I have been running PO4x4 for about 2 weeks and have seen a noticable difference. I have been battling hair algae for the last 4 months. I have tried everything and finally since using it it has drastically reduced the hair algae.

It tumbles Just fine for me and way easier to rinse. Maybe my PO4 was already low enough that I didn't notice a difference with the 4x4. I still have a bit of red turf growing on my overflow box with and still don't get a reading with a Hanna Checker.

Yea lol my hanna checker read zero and I had so much hair algae I couldnt even see my rocks so I dont really rely on the checker anymore.

Yeah, po4x4 works, but to me it's too much trouble. I'm using TLF reactor and most of it end up in the sump. Likely work better in a better reactor but I'll stick to regular GFO for now.
