That happened to me while diving the wreck of the Constellation in Bermuda. The pain didn't hit fully until I got out of the water and the air hit it, and then wham! It felt like I got hit in the arm with a hammer. Then the vertigo, nausea, and headache. There were a lot of thick coral structures, but I not good at identifying which was what. On the first day I was trying to maneuver around one structure and the current slammed me into it. Scrapped my right arm on the coral and it stung the Ba Jesus out of my arm. Big nasty blister welp for two days. I had taken a full wet suit, but the water was around 80 degrees and I didn’t use it. Paid the price for no protection.
Definitely leave it there. If you want one, I do see the rare one come in on aquacultured rock from TBS, Gulf Live Rock, etc.Wow dude good call. Knew reef 2 reef peeps would know. Its a cool orange color the pics dont do justice. Question is can i bag it and bring it home with me. Looks loke they get massive tho. It has a stony underside with some big polyps on it
