I really like the price of 17lb live rock from Gulf Live Rock. There are plenty of posts from the past, just looking for more recent experiences as their social media presence isn't as strong as others. Pics or feedback on process would be appreciated.

Tampa and KP are both nearly twice as much, that's why Gulf has me the most intrigued. I've been following the 200lb thread closely though.

I ordered 35 lbs mere days after hurricane Ian and have been exceedingly pleased with what I received, from sponges to macro, clams, decorator crabs, tunicates, sea cucumbers, feather dusters, spaghetti worms, astrea, ceriths, urchins, serpent stars, and vividly purple and red thick encrusted coralline algae. And thus far I only had one small patch of a pest algae that was easily removed. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/gulf-live-rock-macroalgae-id-bryopsis.941209/#post-10669516 This is a post I made to ID it, I can send pics tomorrow when my lights are up if you are interested.

I ordered my live rock from Tampa Bay Saltwater. The people at @LiverockRocks have amazing customer service! Here’s my current tank with their base and premium nano rocks.

Edit: I should mention that I purchased their live sand package, too.

I've been interested in Some TBS WYSISYG because on rare occasion they have Oculina Robusta and I want some badly but shipping is a little ridiculous IMO.

Kp actually isn't gulf rock.

Wow, is it just the lighting or are the rocks actually that purple?

yeah that's just the lighting but there is some seriously thick encrusted coralline algae, in different shades of purple, pink and red. The coralline is so thick in places it looks like it branching out, there's also orange, blue, purple, yellow, and red sponges of all varieties from encrusting to ball sponges. I'll take pics that show their true colors tomorrow when my daylight spectrum is on.

I would say a good 80% coverage of either coralline or beneficial sponges on all of the rock.

Awesome ya, I'd definitely love to see it tomorrow! What kind of shipping did you do? Against my better judgment, my wallet is going to make me do the 2-3 day basic shipping.

The last box I got from gulf this summer was amazing. Couldn’t have asked for better live rock.
Pics? What kind of hitchhikers did you have, if any? What shipping did you choose?

I went with overnight and would recommend it depending on your shipping zone I'm in CA so I decided I needed it, as it would have likely taken 3-4 days and I wasn't sure how many of the hitchhikers would survive that.

Also in Cali. I'll consider that, just trying to keep it cheap where I can

Overnight shipping. I can grab some of the pieces I have my frag tank tomorrow. I put half in my sump and half in the frag tank for added biodiversity. No bad hitchhikers.
