Anyone dose live phyto?

I'm another user of the Eldredge phyto. I've been using it for two weeks now and I'm following his doing instructions since he has a higher cell density than the phytos I was using before. I started with Algae Barn but that was too expensive, then I switched to my LFS who got their stuff out of Florida but half the time when I showed up they were out and hadn't received their latest shipment. Eldredge's phyto seems to be higher quality their either of the first two so I'm only dosing 1 oz per day into my 120 gall system volume.

It really does seem to help with nutrients and keeping everything happy and well fed.

I’m a very big @Reef Nutrition fan. I’ve used many types of bottled phyto but when switching back to their 5 type live mix, I think I see better results specifically with dusters and pods which I do encourage growth of in all my tanks.
Over time I’ve also learned that less is more and that you gotta turn off skimmers bc they pull it right out. Fantastic stuff and since I learned it could be frozen it has turned a bit more cost effective.

edit: sorry should prob answer the question: I feed daily 1x maybe 1-2ml reefnutrition mix in a 32g and a 20g both which have duster rocks which is the main reason I feed. I do not have a skimmer and store the phyto either fridge if live and after 2-3 weeks I take the rest of the bottle and freeze it into 1.5ml cubes

Anyone here dose or target feed corals live phyto? If so, where do you get yours, how much do you dose or feed, how often, and how do you store it?
I used to have a automated fresh phytoplankton dosing system (getting it re build in the new system in the coming weeks) for dosing it has to be built up, there isn’t a ml per gallon calculator that can be used for phytoplankton, you start with a small dose and gradually increase it as per tank demand.

Another satisfied @Eldredge user. I dose between 1 and 3ml/gallon daily based on what else I've been feeding and my nitrate phosphate levels. Usually about 30 minutes to an hour before the light go on.

As others have said start low and as tank demands slowly increase. If I was not growing my own there is now way I could afford to dose like I do. I even now am culturing my own bacteria from PNS
That’s interesting, how you doing the bacteria cultures?

I was dosing daily and ended up bottoming out on nutrients. The tank from a distance looked nice and clean since it kept algae and cyano at bay but growth on my corals were almost non existent. Its been about a month since I have dosed phyto and now the tank is thriving with an explosion of growth and color.
This is my exact experience except just stopped 4 days ago and waiting for things to bounce back

HYDROSPACE the producers of the PNS bacteria has a home brew kit now. It was kinda expensive at first $140 for the kit but makes 2.5 gallons after 30 days with an almost infinite shelf life.I thought in the end it was worth it as because a 16 oz bottle is like $24.00 and this will make 20+ bottles
