I am strongly considering getting one for my 55 reef. Anyone have any experiences to share?

I've had 2 before. Voracious appetite, will eat things that might be bigger than their mouth, sting feels like a bad bee sting, Likes to hide under or on the side of ledges. Although both of mine automatically came to the top and swam around when i fed the tank. Very Cool fish. I fed mine live ghost shrimp injected with selcon.

i have one and love him they have huge appatites but i have transitioned mine to eat frozen thaw krill and silversides using a net method only took about 3 weeks to transition him from live to ft

Thanks for the info! There are no shrimp in the tank. For some reason, I have never been able to keep shrimp in my 55. Good to know about the feeder shrimp. I have relatively easy access to some.

I have heard that they can be trained to eat off a feeding stick. Anyone done this? I think it would be neat to train a fish to do this.

mine would run from the feeding stick but net training was simple he would eat the live feeder shrimp out of the net so tricking him to eat ft was easy

I have been wanting one too, but was afraid for my cleaner shrimp. They are so cute. Let me know how yours does when you get him and I might have to jump on the boat too.

I had one but I couldn't get it to eat anything but shrimp (and not mysis). It ate all of my peppermint shrimp (8) in two months and I tried everything else i could get my hands on to no avail. It did not touch my cleaner shrimp.

I have a fuzzy dwarf, I got him to eat frozen ghost shrimp on the first day. No he eats anything of my stealth stick. He hides most of the time but always comes out around feeding time. I've been teaching mine to spit water. He also chases food across the tank with his spines sticking out of the water. I'll try and get some pics.

Here is my stealth stick, I got the design from Lionfish Lair.

I would love to see pics.

If all goes according to plan, I will have the fuzzy on Friday.

This was my little guy. RIP little buddy :)

I wish I could of gotten him to eat. I wasn't able to get live food in and I think that would have helped switch him over.

Your fuzzy was a great looking fish. I am hoping that I can convert the one I get to frozen fairly easy.

+1, beautiful fish. Sorry it didn't make it. I grabbed a pic of mine imitating a shark. Shot a short video of it spitting too, still need to edit that down.

That Fu Manchu looks great!!!! :)

It is confirmed I have ordered my fuzzy dwarf. I also ordered two bangaii cardinals to go in the seahorse tank. I might be picking up some new corals as well. Is it Friday yet? :)

:( The fuzzy isn't looking too good. It wasn't looking good from the moment I picked it up. Luckily, I have until tomorrow to file a claim. I drip acclimated it and then carefully placed it in my tank. It did not swim and somersaulted into the powerhead. I pulled it off and it was still alive, but barely. I have it in an old skimmer cup in the tank to try and get give it some hope. I'm hoping it just didn't ship well and will recover.

Oh man that's no good. I'd go ahead and make the claim.
