Anyone have a fuzzy dwarf lionfish??

There are some people that will say a 29 is fine for a single specimen...but literally it would need to be one of the only fish in it IMO..maybe another fish along with it but thats pushin it

He is converted to eating frozen. I did have to get some live food for him to entice him to eat, but now he readily accepts frozen.

Awesome! Good looking specimen. I hope my tips helped you some!

Thanks!!! Your tips definitely have helped!! Thank you!!!

I used to have one in a old tank and eventually (6 months) he would eat any hunk of food I would give him. I rarely even used a stick. You can overfeed them to death literally if you offer too much.

I had mine for almost 2.5 years. Coolest fish I've ever had... would even eat right from my hand. Started him on live ghost shrimp, then he gradually began eating frozen mysis cubes. Yes, the ENTIRE cube was for him, and he loved it! Never bothered any other fish.

Do you think you were in a situation where he was so fat and happy other fish didnt matter because he knew the food god came on a regular basis?

i think that can be a factor, but since day one with any of my lions they have never gone after small damsels, clowns, smaller waspfish or anything
