anyone still using mh for zoas?

Geisemann makes that fixture in both SE and DE just to be clear. I have a 48" Spectra with two 250w Radiums, two Blue+ and two Coral+.

I have a couple but they stink. Still messing around with the camera getting it set up to take really nice FTS. ordering a tripod soon.

That would be a good idea! If anybody has! For sure the mh has beefier polyps but color with out blue supplement not the greatest sometimes!

i use metal halides 2 250w and 4 t5s, the size of some of my zoas are way bigger then when i had them under t5s only, they look so nice, colorful and big under them.

I run a Giesemann Infiniti 250w de MH 4 bulb t5 combo and everything in my tank grows great. My zoas are quite large, as indicated above much larger under mh/t5 than just t5.
