I've read some reviews and some are good and bad so I was wondering if any locals have ordered from glasscages or seen their tanks in person.

This is a long shot but if you know of anyone selling a 95g 3 wide (36"x24"x25") reef ready tank and stand or one very similar let me know.

Yep looking to upgrade..... .again. All I need is the tank and stand though I have everything else, I'm sticking with the amount of rock I have in the 46g

I'm not local to you, but people in my club also have mixed reviews. From what I can tell, quality is inconsistent. If you get a good one, it's great, but if you get a bad one, it breaks.

That's what I've been reading. If only I could find that tank somewhere else, it's the exact size I'm looking for. 36" is the fixture I already have and the depth would make for an interesting scape.

I'll keep looking on craigslist and the local stores and hopefully something will come up.

I have a 240 gallon glass cages tank. I bought it from someone else, and he had put fresh water in it for about a month. Quality-wise, I have had no leaks, but the two overflows were not level with each other, and I would say that the glue is not exactly perfect (from an aesthetic point of view, being very picky). I glued some glass to the inside of one overflow to bring the level even with the other overflow, which has worked very well so far. And it has held 240 gallons of salt water for the last 7 months with no issues - so far so good!

I tried once.

I never made it through the ordering process before realizing the customer service was horrible. That with the rumors of them not standing behind the product made me look else where.

I have dealt with ocea (they made my personal tank and through working with the store) and I have been pleased with them. They always treated me exceptionally well.

i want to get a custom tank...do they do that or is it standard sizes?

What most attracts me to glasscages is that I can go pick it up west of Nashville, avoiding the $100+ in shipping charges.

litenyaup, glasscages can build a custom but they also have standard tanks.

i actually just called about having a sump made...great price!! will prob do it unless i find one in the next week or so
