Here is my experience with OCEA. I saw the on sale on this link https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/f60/120-gallon-sale-24517.html

To keep the story short. The silicone on the tank was crack on delivery. I did not find out until next day. I call TY (OCEA owner) next day. He answers the phone and offer partial refund and make sure that it will not leak. I refuse and ask for new tank. He agree for the new tank right on the spot. Two weeks later, I got new tank and a free sump for my the trouble.

The thing with OCEA is you call them, they may not call you back. They like to answer email more often than answer the phone. They are closer than glasscage if you want to pick up your tank. If you want tank in a hurry, you will be frustrated.

Do I want to buy from TY again? Definitely. He is close to Chattanooga. He does custom. His price is competitive.

I just sent in the form for the same sized tank and stand to Ocea. I'm going to petcare warehouse tomorrow and getting a price quote for an Oceanic 120g reef ready, I'm sure it will be well over the glasscages and Ocea quotes but I have to stop by there anyways.

Should the drain and return lines be 1"? I'm going with a 29g sump/fuge.

Matts, just a quick comment on your post. I have 1" on my 800gph overflow, its too big. I had to turn down the ball valve around 15 degrees to prevent surging, but it still gurgles loudly. Thought that might give you a starting point.

Personally I would say a 29 is on the small side for a sump in a 120, unless you are running an external skimmer. Donny up at 5th day may be able to beat their price on a 120... i know there are also alot of used 120's floating around out there

Thanks for the suggestions.

I just got an email back from Ocea and I think I'm going to go with them based on the price, just have to make sure they got all the information correct, seems pretty low considering other quotes I've got. It's the 36"x24"x25"

Would a 29g be okay for a 95g? I do have an external skimmer.

Matts, donny had a tank for sale now that is reef ready, it was setup in the store for along time, it was covered in algae. I just took everything out of it the other day and I think he is going to sell it. pretty nice little setup.
