Apex AOS update now supports Trident!

Browsing youur build thread, you have the "old" apex. you will not see a firmware update. Only thing that updated for us "old" users is some programming language, and updated fusion pages.

Which version of apex do you have?

If it's the "new" apex, you will see the task options. If it's the "old" apex, nothing has changed other then some programming language, and an FMM update.
It’s the new apex and the new AOS version

5.05 5A19

can't help you then, sorry. I have the "old" apex and nothing changes for me, except some updated fusion pages that look like a kindergartner put them together.

I do find it odd they updated fusion for us "older" users, but not the local pages? Still the same old local we have always had. Wonder why they did not include that in an update for us "older" users?

Hmm I don’t see any of these Trident items in my tasks in Fusions

Follow these instructions from Neptune’s official announcement:

To ensure you are seeing the latest update, you can check the date of the Release Notes. You should see a date of May 1st for the most recent entry. If if does not show 1 May 2019:

  • For Windows desktop browsers, do Control-F5 while on any APEX Fusion page to force a reload
  • For Mac, do Apple + R or Command + R while on any APEX Fusion page to force a reload
  • For the iOS app, click the gear button on the right side of the bottom navigation bar, then tap Reload.
  • For the Android app, go to Settings->Application Manager or Apps (whichever you have), select APEX Fusion, tap Storage, then Clear Cache. Then Force Stop the app. Relaunch the app and check the Release Notes again

Interesting, I rebooted my Apex and it still showed no update available, currently at ver. 5.04 7A18, but when I looked at the task the Trident stuff is there, all grayed out.

Then a few minutes later I look and it shows an update.

Did you follow the steps I posted a couple minutes ago?

So is there a release date yet?

It showed up as an alert for me when I logged into fusion a few minutes ago. I don't have a Trident, but just the change in the wording of alarms is a huge improvement.

This new System view is pretty cool. It shows all your modules, and when you click they expand to show what devices/outputs/probes are attached to each:
