Since the update the other day, my apex is constantly dropping off line and I have to reboot. This morning the reboot doesn’t seem to be bringing it back on line. Does the $100 screen they sell hook directly to the apex so that you still have control when it won’t connect via WiFi?

Yes, the Display module plugs into an AquaBus port and gives you direct access to all settings even without a network connection.

Neptune just released AOS 5.06_7D21 yesterday to correct the bugs found in version 5.06_6E21 that was released 4 days ago. You should definitely update to this newest version, though the update will require a network connection, so getting your Apex back on the network will be critical.

Is your Apex using WiFi, or a network cable?

Also, have you tried rebooting your Internet router? This can sometimes resolve the issue of an Apex not communicating with Fusion.

Yes
There are 2 ways
One is with it being hardwired to your router (eithernet cord)
Second is the display module

It says it’s on the later update in the diagnosis screen. I’ll try rebooting everything and see if I can get it back online long enough to update it. Worse case I think I have a 100’ cat 5 cable to wire it directly to router. What a pain

I’m having the same issue but even worse. It keeps giving me missing modules and nothing has changed. Now my trident won’t even test because it doesn’t recognize it I guess. It is very frustrating.

Edit: This is still happening with the recent update as well

makes you not want to update when everything is working good. I’m waiting for apex to open so I can call them.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Next time I will definitely wait to update. Everything was working flawlessly

I learned my lesson a long time ago with updates. I wait at least three months before even thinking about.

For what it's worth I just did the update over WiFi and everything came out fine.

Did you check for updates on other modules?

Got tired of every time I turned around the apex dropping off line, so I ran a wire line adapter to it and have had zero issues since.
