I mean you could buy this and a used EB8 and saved some $$$ or upgrade an old system with just this keeping the old power bars.

So if I get this apex does the trident hook right up to it or would I have to purchase anything else to get the trident running?

You would just need an aquabus cable (male usb to male usb) and the 24v power supply. So more or less hook right up

Looks neat. Great price! I'm glad we got some cheaper quality controllers available now....I thought the standard ApexEL, but a lot of people can't afford the base model.

I was looking at this earlier this morning. Great way for someone like me to ease himself into automation. thx for sharing.

Got an email about this last night. Very interesting and I have absolutely no clue in what I would even need this for, but I do know the price point seems nice.

I feel like for a basic unit, I'd rather have a salinity probe than pH probe. Temp/Salinity/Water level seems a more appropriate trio.

They don't offer salinity probe because it's been problematic since it's introduction. + more people monitor Ph because that's an earlier indicator of Alk ?Cal issues.

So those that had the Reef Keeper Lite, is this the equivalent as to replace? I might just pick this up for my 10g nano, already have an extra EB8 sitting around.
