Apex updated today

Apex updated today now my energy bar is clicking on and off... is it the update or is it just a garbage. replacing everything every couple years is a joke with the price I paid for everything

Don't know, but I feel your pain. I just did a reboot and every outlet locked to off. Running my tank on extension cords for now.

I lost control of 4 outlets. Was able to recover them by changing the settings on the outlet and then upload. Now everything is back to normal.

Sounds like the power supply on the energy bar failed. Very common problem due to the low components used. There is a good thread in the DIY forum hear on repairing them very inexpensive.

Just an FYI couple days ago there was an update and when I did update for some reason my return pump did not turn back on. After lots of curse words and heart pounding I found the gfi was popped. All I did was click update and it popped my gfi. Now fast forward 3 days later and now Neptune’s has another update and I am dreading doing it because I don’t have the time to deal with the issues the update will cause right now

I broke my cardinal rule of installing new updates this week. No idea if the update has caused me to loose my entire system or not, but after seven years of my Apex Lite never having a problem, I'm regretting getting the EL.

I would never install them either except I can’t stand looking at the little notification icon in the upper left corner when fusion is open

I would assume they’re pushing out updates for SKY

The update released 5 days ago introduced a couple of bugs. Yesterday Neptune released another update to correct those bugs. If you previously installed version 5.06_5C21, you should replace it with 5.06_5E21.

Seams they always release flawed updates first as well.

I thought i was the only one having issues, my stuff is stuck in on, had to physically disconnect stuff to do water change and maintnance.

I replace my eb832 with an EB8 several months ago. I had no issues today with the update.

Do they rectify or leave you hanging ? How is their customer service ?

I submitted a ticket Friday night and got a first response on Saturday asking to give neptune permission to access my fusion account. Hopefully Monday someone will look into my problem. I sure it will be taken care of.
