I know this is too late but I have some ideas you may want to take a look at.
1: as a buiness always make it EASY for people to give you money, make a "Use saved preferences" button. no need to go through 6 screens at check out, 700 people trying to get through 6 check out sections is 4200 screen changes as opposed to click a button go to paypal (700 screens).
2: run a presale the week before, ask everybody that can to log in and pick a time say GO! and all swarm the site refreshing and buying, to make it interesting and to get true traffic sell 0.5% off codes for $0.25 or something. after the sale combine the codes and send customer 001 a code for the 15 he won that gives him 7.5% off that can be used 1 time. This will give YOU a true stress test, a returning customer, and free publicity. The customer gets 7.5% off off an order for $3.75 that he can use on some of those $100 eye candy pieces that tend to hang around after the sale.

Ok looking at my order history and it shows my order numbers of 908, 877, and 855 where it shows status it says canceled. So does that mean tey don't go through because it showed that my account was charged
