wow yeah thats insane..
We are talking about 1 million litres of saltwater or lets say 265'000 gallons!!!

And now PETA is going to prosecute the owners.

When the Georgia Aquarium built their huge tanks, the account I remember from our tour was that it was a Japanese company that did the work fusing the plexiglass to make insanely thick totally clear tank walls.
According to our guide, the condition for them to do the work was that literally everyone else had to leave - no one was allowed to stay on site to see any part of their process, or how they did it.
Did a good job though. big ol' whale sharks swimming around in those tanks and no structural issues with the clear walls.

I assume this is just joking and also assuming that you do realize thst PETA can not "prosecute" anyone. They are not a part of any judicial system.

Lucky it seems to have happened in the early AM before the lobby and street were filled with people and children. People could have easily died.

What he’s saying is that they can’t do that. PETA isn’t a person and has no jurisdiction to try and take anyone to court for anything.

how about “peta won’t be happy”

A tank rupturing is beyond the tank owners power. If PETA had any authority, everyone on this thread whose tank ruptured is in danger of being prosecuted.
