Hello Aquaforest

Can you tell me what source material is your carbon is made from, the activation process - physical or chemical, & any specs such as iodine number, & lastly the physical size of the granules.

Size of granules is ⌀ 4mm and over 1cm long

Different materials end up having different properties after activation.
Some materials are better suited than others for marine aquarium water, typically based on pour size, for example.

There is no way i would buy this product without knowing this basic detail.

I cannot answer that one, I use it. Looked at the container and just says produced under lab conditions.

Everyone has the own proprietary source and ingredients.
