for sure, no doses of anything tonight. i actually have been measuring everything in the morning already so if you want 12 hour values i can supply those no problem too.OK, don't dose anything in the tank and let it sit for 24 hours. Then measure everything again. If possible try to measure the Alk tomorrow morning once and then in the evening. Which salt mix you use?
I think there is some issue....why you were dosing components? With probiotic salt you can not get 9dkh. It should be somewhere near 8dkh. I think the issue was you were dosing alot of components without the system need. What is Alk level of fresh made probiotic salt?for sure, no doses of anything tonight. i actually have been measuring everything in the morning already so if you want 12 hour values i can supply those no problem too.
i use aquaforest products only and am using the probiotic salt mix.
Ooops I completely missed you. I will suggest half of the recommended dose. But before dosing amino I will suggest to lower down your nutrient low actually very low.I got à 100gallon
I use nppro pro bio f and s
I do comp 1-2-3
I got a sps only tank but they are all frag
Asking if I want to dose
Amino acid
Vitalité
Build
Energy
Should I dose 1 drop per 27 g or
Should I do less cause I got only 25 frag 1-2 inch in the tank
I dose 95 ml per day of the component to have all my parameter stable
I think you messed up quite a bit. So, first thing lets start from beginning. We need to first make this system stable. I want you to do a at least 2 20% water changes alternate days possibly starting tomorrow. So one on sunday and next one tuesday. Stop all dosing except normal fish feeding. Not even Pro bio S or NP pro. Read your salt mix Alk and also after 12 hour every water change.it's been a while since i tested my salt mix but it didn't measure abnormally high and i don't suspect the salt mix to be the issue.
the dosing started a while ago with tropic marin 2-part. my tests all had my parameters perfectly covered but learned i had bad test kits i was using for a month at least and i honestly think from that point forward it's been getting more dose than the corals i keep even need.

yea i know... i have no one to blame but myself for this but i am willing to do whatever will bring things back to good. i guess it isn't hard to understand why my coral growth has been so slow for these past couple of months.I think you messed up quite a bit. Let me tell you this is going to take some time possibly much more than I have thought.
Yes but take reading tomorrow same time and lower your light intensity to 50% max. Also dose nothing but Pro bio S and NP Pro as per recommendation.@Anirban alright so i took my numbers this morning 465Ca, 9.12kH and 1470. i finished my 25% water change an hour ago and these are the new numbers 480Ca, 8.16kH and the mag titration turned right at 1500.
my phos was at 0.05ppm right before the water change and my nitrate is at.05ppm
most of my corals look fine but one of my larger millipora is definitely bleaching out.
just leave things as is and wait for another 25% change on tuesday?
No problem with that but try to grab them and bio S (small one) tuesday.unfortunately i don't have either of those products and i won't be able to get to the lfs until tuesday.
will do. i'll shoot you some numbers again tomorrow and ... thank you very much for your patience. No problem with that but try to grab them and bio S (small one) tuesday.
Yup I will wait.will do. i'll shoot you some numbers again tomorrow and ... thank you very much for your patience.

another day has passed and so have 2 of my acros. the millipora that was losing color yesterday has bleached completely as has another small frag. 2 more small frags aren't looking well so i don't expect them to recover... not goodYup I will wait.![]()

here are the tests throughout:
24 hours ago following 20% water change: Ca 480 Alk 8.16 Mg 1500
this morning at 7am: Ca 480 Alk 9.12 Mg 1455
moments ago: Ca 465 Alk 8.64 Mg 1455
nitrate is at .2 ppm and phos is at 0.00ppm but i haven't fed since yesterday either.
i'll be buying Pro Bio S and NP Pro tomorrow and have the 2nd 20% water change planned.
i will leave one positive note. a lot of my zoas that have been closed are opening today so i'm hoping the worst of the bad news is over. fingers crossed.

I will feed the system more as @jsker suggested and also wait 24 hours more.
