Is anyone using aquaforest zeo mix?

Info says we just have to place in FR reactor. Any user reviews?

A lot of people use here including me. I run it in TLF reactor and stacked with carbon.

I think zeolites works by their own and more of a fine tuning instead of gross. I dose probiotics but don't run a ULNS system so no amino for me. I use very less zeo with carbon but dont run GFO.

Oh but i have read that u have to shake the zeolites in the reactor. (In zeovit reactor)

Why dont we have to shake in the aquaforest zeo mix?

For AF zeolite you don't need to shake the zeolites.

Right but why? In zeovit when we shake then mulm releases which is food for the corals right?
Sorry i m a bit in confused situation so lots of weird questions popping out of my head.[emoji23]

Just want to know how exactly it performs.

Zeolite are of different kind and this one although perform similar way but dont needed to be shaken for mulm release. Other than mulm release zeolites also maintain ionic balance and absorb ammonia which is more of keeping bad things out of system.

Alright. So this is different type of zeo.
Understood.
Thanks a lot of helping me out this quicky.[emoji2]
I can run them as per they have mentioned in the info and the flowrate.

One more thing. How do i start them on my existing running tank?

Lol..the question is why you want to run it? What is your objective?

I have been running an sps tank since 2 years but not getting good coloration still. So i plan on going to AF zeo mix system.
Should help right?

Good coloration means bright or pastel shades? Because zeolites will strip the minerals from the water so if you can not tune it then you will damage your corals. What are your parameters right now?

You have 40 ppm NO3???? Dont you think thats a bit high? Zeolites are specially useful when you run a low or ultra low nutrient system.

Bring them down to under 5 and 0.03-0.05ppm and then after continuing for few months you can throw some zeolites.

Yeah I know. With that high NO3 I was expecting something like that.
