I think im going with a mag 18 because I have two drains already and I want to have to returns. And also what would be the best way to plumb both returns? A Y or a T??

You just want to minimize angles and obstructions to the extent possible. It somewhat depends precisely where you are installing it...sometimes a (e.g.) Tee might be all that fits.

I don't know how much the difference worth to you, but to guarantee minimal performance drops, oversize your plumbing by one size at all the joints.

Tee's, wye's, manifolds and distributors could all do the trick of dividing your flow...as would a SCWD. Except for that last option, check out FlexPVC.com and see what options there are. You aren't likely to find them at a big-box store but there are zero-impedance fittings designed to assure full flow.

Here's how I split the flow on my 240. That red handle valve is first thing on top of the pump. One line goes left one right.
