Aquascaping help

I know but I like them and I'm going to try my best to controle them and if I can't then they are going to go
Good for You!! One man's weed is another man's flower I like to say.
I have xenia, anthelia, green star, AND clove polyp all in my 16 gal nano. I am just waiting to see who's gonna win LOL
I am really starting to see the anthelia starting to take off, so will have to keep a sharp eye on it and prune it back as needed.
I truly see no reason why these corals can't be controlled. It's not like they take over a tank over night. It takes time an a whole lot of doing nothing that allows the take over.....at least I hope

That's what I was thinking as long as I watch it and controle it it shouldent be that big of a deal

Problem i find with larger pieces of rock, is it takes up so much room. Try breaking it up into smaller pieces. This will give u more smaller pieces to work with to create multiple caves, hiding spots and such. Plus being able to build upwards, gives u more floor space. Makes the tank look less congested. Great start...

Yeah I hade theat problum most of my pices are larger and it makes it much more difficult

if you can keep xenia trimmed more power to you. ive sliced it diced it and pulverized it and it always comes back, impossible to trim and remove because of its body structure and it drops spores all over your tank, doesnt spread in a mat like gsp.. it's like selling aiptasia as a great "beginner coral". see how crappy it looks after taking over some poor souls tank and you wont like it much longer. or after you spend a couple months eyeballing all the beautiful zoas and palys and montis out there. much more beautiful and equally as resilient starter corals that dont dominate your tank by dropping spores and being impossinle to controll.

Exactly What Coryc Said. This Doesn't Grow In A MAt . You Don't Just Trim It Back. SpOres Float Around And End Up Everywhere.
