I’m sure you can search seneye and find some reviews. It has other features too.

You could also rent a dedicated Par meter from BRS for 50$. Make a map of your tank and test different spots write them down

Apogee SQ-420 is usb that plugs into a laptop. Around $250. Read too many issues with the seneye for me to purchase.

BRS: You have to pay full price and get a refund when you return, minus the fee.

Seneye matches up with BRS’s documented par settings for my lighting setup. About 4% off when I was testing. It sucks are everything else though

Yup thats all you need as long as you have a laptop. Software is free.

Huh this is the same sensor I see all the time at work. Almost all commercial solar arrays use them for their weather stations. It would be a real shame if one "broke" and had to be replaced lol

Nope, super easy to use. Cables really flexible. If you have a deep tank you can make your own stick to hold it, or you can buy the wand designed for it. In my frag tank i just hold the sensor, in my 265 i just hold it with my grabbers

1) Durable? If you take care of it and clean-n-dry store it properly.... I guess it's durable enough to last yeeeeears?????

I know the SQ-520 comes with a 4 year warranty. I might be the same for the SQ-420.

Ive only had mine for a couple months. Quality seems sound though. For how little youll actually use it id imagine itd last a long time as long as you dry it off between uses

Your local fish store may have one available for rent. We did that here a week or so ago for $15/day. Worth checking.
