Are these strawberry conchs?

Remember the species? I think a strawberry is the only conch that could be successfully kept in a nano long term, but still could be a gamble.
I do not remember the species. How much sand algae do you have? If your sand bed is clean, then I wouldn't recommend it. If there is a good amount then it might be good.

3.5 year old tank with a 1.5”-2.5” sand bed. Definitely lots of algae under the top the Nas snails don’t go very deep.

Surprisingly a bunch of people in the Fluval Evo group I am in have them and accept it is possible & fine candidate for the tank (assuming with more than a 1" sandbed). I am asking how long they have lasted for people and so far hearing years.
I have 5 of these for my (previously 75) 90 gallon tank. I have had them for over 2 years and they have survived me accidentally nuking my tank several times. Fantastic and hardy little critters. I recommend them to any new reefer.
