Unique corals has some Australian live rock in stock again so I picked up a few pounds to add to my tank. Did anybody else grab any of this live rock too? Also does anybody have any from unique corals that they purchased previously so I can see what they actually received. The pictures look great on the website but it's pretty pricey. I found a huge black claw to what I'm guessing was a gorilla Crab or some other pest Crab. Luckily it was a molt but this does indicate what we have the potential to find as for pests.

Haven’t noticed anything yet I threw in a30 gallon Innovative tank I’ve had up with nothing in it cause I’m s thinking what I want to do I’ll get pics in lights tomorrow, I also had a molt of a full shell

I'm really only seeing brittle stars in my rock which I think is a good sign of life 48hrs after receiving them. Very low levels of ammonia as of tonight. Skipped a water change tonight and I'll test for nitrites and nitrates tomorrow to see if the bacteria is doing its job already bc I definitely am seeing/smelling the die off lol. Maybe I can get this rock in my tank sooner than expected.

Here's a picture of mine in a 5 gal bucket. The color in these pictures is pretty close to how it looks under white light (don't mind the frag plug) :)

This is extremely helpful, that very much what I'm looking for thanks!

about 30 to 35 hours in letting amonia ride at 2.0 or higher" anyone else just letting it ride high, i mainly care bout bacteria deep inside the rock , hoping high amonia will kill anything unwanted

Ordered 10lbs Wednesday night about 11:00 PM. Shipped yesterday and at my door at 9:00 AM this morning. it was shipped very nicely with 2 heating packets still warm.

Just put it into the bucket to begin curing. Will most likely be switching buckets for a while until I get the saltwater tank set up. My plan is to get 10 lbs of Kp aquatics as well. I will scape my tank using dry rock, cycle with MB7. Once settled add this and KP for mor diversity.

and curing. Has the real live rock funk. Gonna look great in one of the tanks.

Some great looking rock! I’m curious, has anyone requested that they ship it in water? Or has unique turned that down? Nothing wrong with wet paper but just curious if they’d even be willing to ship in water
