They have other means of survival besides light

Quick check in on mine. Switching up from daily dosing all at once to two applications spread out over 12 hours. 1ml to 10 gal all at once was not packing enough punch for these dinos. Monitoring light schedule orp and ammonia levels as well as visual checks as I continue ahead

I did 2 days. Do you think one more day will kill that crap?

Depends on what you have and how bad. Lights out for me did not phase them. Slowed them considerably but did not deliver the Knock out punch

From what I've been seeing with cyano lights out, is kinda like a bandiad thats to small for a cut stops the bleeding for a little bit but always comes back. And for me I have used chemiclean and really it was just that a bandaid lasted a month and came back. Now with H2O2 I have seen alot of bad reviews but never any true studies to prove the negative attitudes. Hence why I am completely willing to try the route and see where we wind up.

This is true!
If at the minimum dose we see less reproduction then we are on the right path.
I know for a fact h2o2 kills it dead

I also started dosing on Saturday, so I just did my third dose this morning... 1mL per 10 gallons. I have zero algae except for red cyano. Been fighting it for a couple of months now. Increased flow does nothing to it. I "think" I may have noticed a decrease in it this morning after 2 doses. We'll see how it looks when I get home today. I also ordered an Oxydator to try out if this dosing thing seems to work.

Any reports on clam negative reactions to peroxide dosing?

Just please keep in mind this is a study.
We will come up with a dosing amount by the end of this study.

No clams here. What I have:

Heavy stock of SPS, LPS, Softies, Fish, Macro Algae, Inverts - including shrimps, crabs, snails

How is the macro responding to this?

I currently do not have clams and my macro is not showing any change.

I did 3 days if lights out and dosing. Clam didn't seem to mind

How many days you plan to dose for and do you dose all at once?
