As stated above, If you're viewing from the side you divide the result by 10.

Tell me about it, I’ve been using Salifert for 30 year’s i never had a issue with any until they just recently came out with this new calcium test kit, so i had to buy a new Ca test and i could only get this new one and i get it and it won’t work the water won’t turn pink according following the directions, so i repeat the step 3 times and same result, so i buy another one and same exact thing happens, so then i buy the Aqua Forest which is kind of similar to the Salifert, and it worked with no problem, that was an expensive calcium test

I have noticed all salifert test kits have a shelf life once you start using it. If you doubt the result order a new salifert test. I have had that issue with calcium kits, alkalinity kits, etc especially when I am near the end of the kit. You can usually trust the new kit.

With the calcium kit, after putting the powder in, you have to inject 60ml of the syringe & swirl so it changes to pink. Then add more slowly till it turns blue to get your reading.
I have no problems with it.
