Ball Nem or baby ricordea?

If that’s a FL Ric then it’s def something else… they spawn by creating a second mouth and eventually splitting… my Yuma rics make pups although they are usually much closer to the mother than this is…. Could it be a Ric that got dislodged, atrophied and then was blown to sandbed? I’ve had that happen and they resurface smaller and semi translucent until they recover.

As far as my mushroom intelligence delves into other species besides discosoma, ive never looked into how ricordea FL. Reproduces.
Based on my massive experience (((just kidding))) with 2, now 3.5, mine seem to:
Develop additional mouth(s), start to bunch up in the middle, then slOOOwly start spreading out to split apart.

Yeah. Probably a ball anemone. I found this page. It looks just like this except it's not that orange.

They just started getting color. Some of these are smaller than a dime. They do start out almost clear and I can see how it could be confused as a ball or something else.

My yummas drop babies. Never seen them split

This guy is super small. Prob just a little bigger than yours. Just got its color with in the last week. It resembles yours. I usually see balls in darker area of tanks. Your looks to be in a brighter area. I also believe balls prefer rocks. I'm not convinced its a all. I say hold it for a bit ans than decide.

phew! Those look like small yumas to me. They're more bubbly.

That little frag doesn't look like a ball or mojo
I didn't think so either, which is why I glued it to a frag plug. But you know how the reefing community is, you post a question about something and get 10 different answers/opinions. Luckily in my case it turned out to be a torch :)

I didn't think I got a pic of a new baby but I did. Here you go. You can see how translucent it is. It will take a couple of week but should gain color.
