Battling Dino's. What's this worm thing

Enough of being professional. Another words. My tank is a disaster. Straight up mess!!

Well I ripped off the UV I put temp in display. It wasn't doing a thing. With my Dino's that I have. It was taped in front of tank. Hard to get in my tank without bumping tube and causing a disaster. I still have my uv in sump. But 3Rd day dosing silica. 12ml a day. Dino's are bad in sand in middle of the tank just gonna keep dosing and keeping po4 above .1

Well day 4 of silica dosing. Sand looks badddd lol.

Also dosing live cultured phyto every couple days. Like 60ml while having my skimmer off.

Keeping po4 over .1. Today tested at .132. No3 around 10. (Between 5-12 on nyos)

Way worse than I've had it. I think siphoning sand made it worse. Now just gonna hope silica helps and let it sit.

my tank looks clean but the GHA and sand. Sand is all brown. Like the Dino's. Still looks bad. But took 3 samples of the sand. In most brown dense areas. Here is some photos of the slides. Even though my sand looks bad. It may be a success. Dosing silicates for about 5 days now. Started waste away yesterday. But in the slide. Alot of diatoms. And scarse Dino's. It used to be a slide full of them. I plan on dosing silicates and the waste away for another week. Then I might slow down silicates and let them burn out depending on the slides at the time.

3 slides. I still see Dino's. So I still have them. But scarse

Question is. How long do I continue silica dosing and wa. I'm worried once I stop. The little I see just boom again?

Should I dose silicate for this next week and wa as well then fade silica out?? Or do I need to dose until I don't see a single dino?

I'm scared to taper down spongexcel lol. Maybe slowly drop dosage by a ml every few days?

@taricha any idea when I should start to drop silica dosing and see if Dino's stay out? I won't be able to make that decision myself. Lol I need sometime to make it for me lolol
