Bentonb's Nano In 90

Everything Finally went to zero :D so I added my livestock today and so far so good, I'll try to post pictures asap but I have finals the next two days so the pictures will probably come Friday. Also, my question in the post above this was never answered..? any answers?

So clownfish are damselfish, and usually damselfish are very territorial especially when the first introduced to the tank. I wouldn't want to chance a $100 designer clown with a $4 dollar damsel. My guess would be the smaller of the 2 would be dominated. Clowns are very aggressive to. I had a pair of mated black and whites and they would snap at my hand whenever I was in the tank for maintenance or adding frags

Currently my damsel is the smallest thing in my tank lol the current clown I have is the bully... I know what you mean though... but I just don't know what to do with the fish I have, especially if I want to get something else..?

Take them back to the lfs...it may not be safe to add the clown with your current bully clown unless the one you purchase is bigger

probably what I'll have to do at some point. I want a watchman goby first anyway. I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION, my current clean up crew is about 5 blue legged hermits, 10 or so dwarf ceriths, a cleaner clam, and 1 random other snail (not sure what it is, can't remember) I will be adding a cleaner shrimp, but I was wondering what else I should add? should I add my emerald crab? he was in my 10 gallon but I'm not sure I should add him to my new tank, (like the rest of my cuc) what do you guys think?

make sure you add things slowly. You can crash the tank if you put too much at once.
Looking good!

well finals are done and summer semester is over, now I'll have more time to focus on my tank :D anyways I am going home this weekend to get my batty charger for my real camera but for now here are some phone pics ;)

I would have more but the upload limit is quite small :(

the candy cane looks pretty bad, but its because its splitting =D into three from one lol

Regarding your CUC, you may want to add a few nassarius snails. They are great detritus eaters. As someone else already mentioned, you'll want to take it slow on new additions to give your tank time to adjust to the new bioload.

And your pics look GREAT!

Thanks guys, finally got my camera working, so I'll post pictures soon, I will head to my lfs tomorrow to get some nassarius snails and a few margarita snails, and maybe a cleaner shrimp.. I've had an outbreak of bubble algea and my emerald crab is slacking :/ any tips? I plan on picking up some phosban tomorrow as well, I would put it in the empty stage of my filter because I have removed the bio rings. Has anyone ever used phosban? and do you think it would help? I don't think it would hurt.... I will also be doing a 5 gallon water change or so. Let me know what you think.

nevermind I don't have bubble algae... just looked at a picture of it and thats not it....

Hers's what it looks like-

Still can't seem to get a decent picture of my frogspawn, but its doing well, my Duncan is doing even better, and nothing has died yet :P lol which is a very good thing!

they look like dinos to me...? but maybe just a mild case? I'm going to pick up some phosban and i've already started a "blackout" period. Probably going to give it 48 hours and then see how it is.

BTW the blackout fixed the problem, I also added chemipure with GFO and it seemed to help. Now I just have plain regular algae, but I think a few more snails will help that problem.

Also, Here are a few more current shots btw, all of these are under the "moon lights"

Flash on: this thing eats like a pig and yet I don't see much growth, any ideas?

Livestock and tank are looking good!

well, some sad news, I went home for the weekend and everything looked good and healthy, except for that small algae problem. But it looks like my emerald crab got ahold of my small colorful acan....... this is what it looked like when I got back.
evil emerald crab.jpg

everything else looked good, except for maybe being bulldozed around (more than likely by the crab) even the algae problem was gone =) lol but lets just say that the crab is now caught and will be making a trip to the lfs later today.

Looking good bro and sorry about the acan. I swear my acans were eaten by hermits.
