So with my move getting a bit closer to happening and with the war I just devided in my tank between my six line and clownfish. I going to try and get my "fish list" ready and try and get them all in the tank at the same time hopefully from the same vendor.... the tank is a 65gal that's 4 foot long. it will be a mxed reef with sps and lots of palys/zoes maybe a leather or 2.
I know I want 2 small tangs one zebrasoma and one comb toothed ideally I would have a chevron and a purple, but both being rare at this time I may have to settle for 1 of those 2. I have had both before and really love both , but theres a lot of cool zebrasomas... so here goes the list.
using Saltwater Fish: Marine Aquarium Fish for Saltwater Aquariums as reference.
2 small TANGS
Chevron tang
Dejardani sailfin tang or purple
other tangs I like that are options:
half black mimic tang
Achilles
Scopus
would like some schooling fish love anthia's but 3 lyretail anthias might be to cramped for my 65g
so thinking maybe
set of 3
black axil cromis
acares midget reef chromis
Blue reef chromis
MISC
1 bluespot or 1 yellow headed pearly jawfish
1 rainfordi/court jester gobi
2 banghii cardinal fish
thinking a fairy wrasse
I think that's a complete wish list as far as fish go. what do you guys think? if its too much I would forgo the banghii's in favor of the schooling cromis or anthea's
also need opinions on if I should acquire and add them all at the same time? will do the tangs this way for sure. the others I am unsure if its necessary.
Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get my fish live stock from?
i am willing to wait and be patient the rite fish. I don't want to add fish and try and chase them down and replace them as I acquire the ones I want ....very much would prefer to get them all together from one source if possible. but need a good reliable source. suggestions please!
the 65 will be hooked into and part of bigger system (aprox 120gal) for stability and they will be cycled and stable before the addition of the livestock.

I've learned a lot about my Achilles in the two years that I've had him and feel even my 6ft tank is way to small for the amount of swimming they do. However, I LOVE my purple tang who is also in with my Achilles, and would always recommend them to anyone with the correct setup. Good luck and post pictures!
