So guys I want to know what you best sixty dollar or under purchase was and what you loved about it. I want ideas for my Christmas present. Thanks and make sure to fill up those boxes below!!!!!

Reef related? If so, My best was just a tad over $60. Jebao wp-40 The next choice would be a two little fishes kalk stirrer. I paid $55 for it a year ago (don't know what it is now). Battle Corals had a cheapie acro sale and got 6 really nice acros for $60

Absolutely ;) i had hydors and mjs... terrible in comparison to the wps. These are excellent pumps and push tons of water. On my 125 i had 1 and that was plently! I have 2 wp40s on my 180. By far one of the best investments I've made

Sweet my tanks a bit small for them but thanks! I just redid this thread because it my auto correct. Lol still helpful.

Yeah they still put out to much 1000 gph is way to much lol I wish I love the controllers tunze and koralias are expensive

  1. A motorized vacuum for water changes. I had a diatom bloom that went berserk when I was vodka dosing. It helped me to clean off the sand, and it was powerful enough to suck up the junk off the rocks. It was like 9 bucks or so. Unfortunately, with having small kids, they get into things, and well, I've lost a few of the peices.
  2. Twine to secure my mangroves above the substrate so that they would grow downward with thicker roots.
  3. Mag 3 return pump. Was given to me free from someone on here. I just had to replace the impellar which was around $14.
  4. 10g tank for sump.
  5. Prodibio Biokit Reef, around $40. Probably the best money I've spent in a long time. Has helped keep the tank in tip top shape. I no longer have the diatom issue as stated above.
There's quite a few more things, but I figured those were the best most recent purchases.

Okay thanks I'll add that to my list but I have a hydrometer from instant ocean to test salt anything that actually effects looks of aquarium or results?
Here is my hydrometer
