I do like the simple open stand like this. It helps the aquarium not to feel so “heavy” and intrusive in the room.

Was it crated curbside delivery or furniture blanket wrapped ?
Did they help carry it inside.

My stand from Chris Benner (he made the BRS stand too). Solid Cherry construction, shaker doors. Had him make a matching coffee table and end table. Stained to match a piano we had in the room already. Best feature: separate section for electronics with a front panel for the apex and fan controller units

Has the evaporation had any effect on the cabinet?

I am a huge fan of 80/20. Any future stands will be made of it just for sheer utility. it can also be clad with hardwood, which I hope to do with mine eventually.

If that pot plant falls in the pool it’s gonna be a real PITA to scoop up all that potting mix..

One of my favorites. BRS 160 stand.

It is simply beautiful. Love the style and how you can actually see under the stand. Helps it not feel so “heavy” in the room.

Question to anyone that owns this style stand.
What is the width of the rails and stiles (the border) for the doors? 2 inches? 2.5 inches?
I am thinking of changing my DIY cabinet door to this style.

Some nice stuff on display here, for sure

Don't know if mine would be considered 'high end' or not, but I'm happy with it.

1.5", 11 gauge, powder coated square tube steel, custom painted 10" surround, solid oak edging, 1/4" poured epoxy surface, custom lighted bookshelf inserts... fanciest stand I've ever built, anyway

This stand is awesome. I love the under aquarium lights and shelving.
