Reefbreeders prism has been working as expected for my 4 gallon pico.

Now where’s some wood so I can knock on it :face-with-tongue:
I had the Reefbreeders Prism for a while. It works fine as long as you never let the sensor stay totally submerged. If (when) that happens the sensor will leak at the top and it will fail.

I switched to the Reefbreeders EXO and it has worked flawlessly and reliably. And it's easier to setup and maintain. You might want to think about upgrading before the prism fails. The pumps and power supplies are interchangeable so you'd have backups if needed.

Good looking out. I will look into them for sure. This prism has already saved my *cough* once.

These look like better versions of the one I originally linked to lol. Will def take a look at these guys

Edit: The first link is definitely an ATO, but the second one seems to mainly be for automatic water changes. Not exactly what I'm looking for, but could be useful in the future!
Mine lasted 14 days before the pump failed

+1 for this. I got mine through AliExpress for under AUD$50. They sell in the shops here for $150. Easy set up never had a problem.

it has a fail safe setting that it will only activate as long as the first top up
intend one of these from AMZ and it flooded my office desk top on day one

I have this going for 6 months actually surprised how good it works I only keep a 4L resivor on a 20long and the reason I picked this one is because of the sensor guard, and actually the guard works really well for me.
