What ATO do y'all suggest? In looking at the hydor right now because I have seen one working and the price is is under 100 but want yalls option in it.

I've been using the Smart ATO Micro for about 9 months now. Works great and no complaints.

I've been using an Ultralife Float Switch for about 15 years now without any problems. I keep it on a timer too, so every 6 hours or so the tank will get a dose of freshwater.

I like the pressure sensitive tube systems so I use an Avast, although I have heard very good things about spectrapure. I went with Avast for Apex Integration.

I use DIY ATO, so far after using it for 4 months, I have not had any problems and is very cheap to make.

I have had my Tunze Osmolator for 3 1/2 years without ANY issues(unless you call getting a phone call from your wife when the power flickers and the sump level goes up for a few minutes as the return comes back on...the high water level alarm can not be ignored!).

If you have apex just get their new pump and a float switch or avast's pressure sensor

Also use the Avast but not the apex. On a digital timer with aqualifter pump. Very happy with it

I like what I read about that unit. Why have I not heard of it before? What are the added safety features over what the Tunze has?
