I like the pressure sensitive tube systems so I use an Avast, although I have heard very good things about spectrapure. I went with Avast for Apex Integration.

+1, this ATO combo has worked very well especially with the Apex integration (which provides additional fail safes)

Also use the Avast but not the apex. On a digital timer with aqualifter pump. Very happy with it

I run kalk on this setup, is why I have it on a digital timer, as an additional fail safe if can't pump the entire reservoir at once if something went wrong. Has been running almost 3 years this way
