What is the recomended flow rate? My jar had no directions, currently running 250ml in TLF 150. I think Im running around 100 gph maxijet adj pump
In the instructions I found last night say 300-350 gph. And that is what a mj1200 is.

What brand maxijet do you have? I had used the MarineLand maxijet 1200 for my BRS biopellet reactor and barely had any movement. I found out that the COBALT maxijet is the original maxijet and supposedly more powerful. I just ordered one from Aqua Cave with 5% off coupon code. I am currently using a mag 5 on the reactor and get a great tumble but the motor is very noisy. I tried piping it into my return pump with a tee but I must not have enough flow since I am back to slow almost no tumble.

It is a marine land. What did to help mine was back the tip out of the inlet down elbow. It was too far in. It has double the flow now.

if you are running foam in the reactor get rid of it, that will cause you problems, with that having been said, i do wish manufacturers woudl be more forthcoming or include pumps with the reactors when they dont, most of the people you see making recommendations are all recommingding a sicce pump when there are other pumps on the market that are just as good with same or better flow rates for far less money. anyway, again i recommend NOT running foam in it and this may seem odd but have you checked to make sure flow is flowing in the proper direction? i have seen people with reef octopus and other reactors complaining about lack of tumbling only to see they have the flow flowing the wrong direction
