What would you use to dip a Frogspawn that has three bivalves and three feather dusters? I really don't want those to die... the only pest that may be come along on that frogspawn are flatworms (that I haven't been able to kill, regardless of how much flatworm exit I use)

wow. thats weird they didn't die. Id like to see a pic of the Worms if you can. Are they on other corals?
(@Lionfish Lair were you asking about resistant flat worms)

I would be tempted to say fresh water, keep swirling the coral to keep the clams and dusters closed.

Revive but mix it stronger, and do the same swishing. But repeat the treatment a few days later.

And finally if that doesnt work,
I hate to say the B word but if you have Bayer and swish and use the same kinda 3 step I use (dip, rinse, rinse)

If you have another rock or coral with the flat worms you could test the effect on the worms. Id start with peroxide. 10to1 (1 peroxide) and move up to the nuclear solutions. Each type of dip is using a different method to kill the buggers.

Hahaha I've dosed peroxide (1ml per ten gallons) three times, once every other day. Those things are still living happy.

Ill add, Ive noticed there seems a particular worm that appears mainly on Spawns.

Not dose, dip. its a higher concentration.

That's not the "Spawn" flatworm. The one you're talking about is a waminoa. The ones i the above pic aren't waminoa.

But yes, it was me asking as I seem to be running across some threads.

yup, I saw that once the pic was up.

Tagging along and learning.....

Does this dip process also include all soft corals? Are there any corals that are not recommend be dipped? My first corals will be zoa, anemone and bubble tip.

I use Bayers for SPS and Revive for LPS and softies.

would Bayer damage or kill softies and LPS?
One thing bayer doesn't kill is algaes. Its very effective for most bugs. but wont kill the eggs, so some folks will use several dips. QT is recommended .

the same kinda 3 step I use (dip, rinse, rinse) in the last dip you can use some peroxide (10to1 works for me)but not for the nem.

a good thread.https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/rock-flower-anemone-dip-in-bayer-is-it-safe.199784/

a slighly broader range dip, kilss infection dinos cynaos algaes etc.

If I were to try peroxide and flatworm eXit as a dip, what ratio / concentration would you recommend? Would you combine both in a dip, then rinse, rinse?

No don't combine.
And I honestly don't know how strong fwe is.

You could take the tank dosage and reduce it to a smaller volume then double the dose.

Usually with peroxide I use a 10to one you can go up from there on the ratio.
