Best dwarf angels

I have a flameback that I got 2 weeks ago.
It’s in a 10 gallon quarantine with a cardinal and a tailspot blenny.
He has not bothered anyone. I’m hoping it will be the same for my Large polyp corals, but I have a feeling I’m probably wrong... he’s always hungry...
please excuse the algae... my tailspot loves it and I want to keep him used to eating it.

The flame back is a beautiful angel

Have all 2 dwarf (Pygmy and flame) with a micro emperor angel in my 20gal reef tank. Perfect parring. Trick was introducing them all 3 at the same time.

I have a Flame, Lemonpeel & Coral Beauty in my 185gl & as long as I don't put Green Corals in it they don't seem to bother anything else.

What size tank do you have? I would love one in the 32 gallon I’m setting up but I’m not sure if it would be ok with a pair of clowns and some coral

it’s all personal preference and level of care your willing to put in. I’m a huge fan of the paracentropyge, multibars and Venustas, but my whole tank and husbandry is planned with them in mind. They aren’t suited for every tank, same with my other favorite centropyge, Collins and goldens. All 4 are very difficult and shy fish. I love Shepard’s but hard to justify the premium over rusty and flames. Similarly with the Joculartors and Bicolors. If pairing is important then perhaps one of the ones with obvious dimorphism is more prized. Smaller tanks smaller species of the xiphypops, may be preferential. All comes down to personal aesthetic, budget, reef safety and care level, which is different for everyone.

I have a 205 gallon display tank. I’m actually trying to figure out all my fish before I start stocking them for the exact reason that you mentioned. I’ll also be stocking the tank with tangs, full size tangs, wrasse and anthias. I might try a moorish idol as well

I want the tank to be as stress free as possible. So I want to make sure that I add them in the right order as well. There’s a few expensive fish like the Conspic and maybe an Interuptus angel

Pygmy, coral beauty and flame

No issues with them and aggression? What size tank do you have them in?
I have flame in each tank ( 50g dropoff, 93 cube and 660g ), had pygmy (no longer ) and coral beauty in 660g
All are peaceful, hardy and great color

It’s in a 10 gallon quarantine. He looks cramped, but not stressed (only my opinion, which may be wrong).

They don’t get too big. Based on my flameback’s behavior I think it would do ok in a 32. He like places to hide, and a lot of stuff to investigate.

Angels are very inquisitive. So cool.

A harem of any of the dwarf angels are fine, since you are going to have a FOWLR. Flame angels are fine. They are not aggressive, especially in a 220 gal tank.
Here is a video of my flame angel spawn
I have a harem of 4 Flame angels in my 320. They spawn regularly. It is really neat to see the male spawn with all 3 females.

It says that the video isn’t available :(
