Best Honeymoon Location

Bora Bora is unlike anything else, Hotel Bora Bora is supposed to reopen soon. We stayed there and there is nothing like the overwater bungalow with huge mantas off the dock, corals and fish galore, great place.

We've been to most of the other vacation spots, but this is the one that sticks in your mind.

yes Bora Bora has to be one of the best places, too bad its an arm and a leg just to get there. (anyone seen couples retreat? funny movie, my wife liked it and got back home from watching it to price bora bora tickets lol DOHH)

Bonaire

Bonaire is my favorite. Very inexpensive shore diving is extremely easy since the reef is so close to shore and the wave action on the west side is normally very negligible. As well as being close to shore, it is very shallow in many locations thereby providing great snorkeling. Even boat diving is inexpensive. I've spent four vacations there so far; the last one, in 2009, was a full two weeks. I'll be happy to tell you more if you want.

Way to go nuts with the exotic cuisine there, Ian :p

Oh, it is Jon!

My wife and I honeymooning in CR this past June...

It's just not a place you, or your wife most importantly, can really expect to be pampered...

we just got back from the mayan riviera in mexico. went snorkeling and diving. mexixo has the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world and it is awesome. we got an all inclusive deal for less than $1000 each for 10 nights. thats hard to beat i believe.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I guess I should clearify...I probably want a location more for snorkeling, diving would be geat, but basically I want to go somewhere that I can go right off the beach somewhere. I dont want to have to get on a boat and go somewhere.
