Best LEDs for SPS?

The new Aquatic Life hybrid fixtures are quite neat. For my frag tank, I just replaced a retrofit T5 kit that I had around my AP700 with a 48" Aquatic Life hybrid. It came out so nice that I decided to add 5 more of them to go along with the AP700's on my new DT I am setting up.

Does Aquatic Life now have mounts for the AP700? The BulkReef site still shows it as a future option.

The universal mount works for the AP700. It is the same mount as the Radions, etc. use. The AP700 fits fine, though it sits a little bit closer to 1 bank of T5's than the other due to the cord exiting on the AP700. I suppose you could bend the strain relief, but I felt it better to have it off center a bit than to chance damaging the AP700 by applying too much force to it.

Radion G4 pro all the way with their SPS AB+ preset, proven to color acros, do not buy the standard model though it has 2 less color channels

What model do you have G4 Radions are worlds apart from the G3 model, they have more color channels and the unique dome lenses make all the difference in the world
BRS did some comparisons you may want to look at. Radions have the highest par and great functionality, Mitras have great spread and functionality as well, Hydras are a good option for lesser price. I think Kessil would be the best choice to t5 hybrid with bc the shimmer would balance nicely. Cheaper options SB and reefbreeders. Lot of good options to choose from.

I’m a HUGE Kessil fan. AP700 over my new tank and an a160we over my 25 Lagoon growout, everything has exceptional color, shimmer kicks butt, and my corals are growing like weeds. But it boils down to everyone’s opinion. I’ve seen a growout contest from a local member to me, same frag, same parameters, radion g4pro vs kessil ap700. The kessil came out better growth, color, etc. vs the radion. Idk what frag it was but it was an acro. Just my .02
