Ok, so who has a nice looking PC Rainbow? I have had two for a year now I picked up as frags. One is getting blasted with 500 par the other 300 under t5 and led. The one under 500 grows thicker stalks and its faster growth, the one under 300 grows thinner stalks but colors up much much better. Here is the 300 par PC Rainbow under blue led and t5. It really took about 10mths to get it this color. I have found it to be really finicky. I would love to see others that have had luck with the color on this guy. Parameters - Temp 79, Alk 8.5, calc 400, mag 1250, sg .026, phos .02-.06 and trates ,3

Here's mine it high up under 400w Radiums sitting in crazy par of 800. Grows extremely fast. The white spots are where frags where taken.

Very cool! Looks great. The other one I have is just red with white tips and green base up high, really thick.

Here's what it really looks like in your tank. Why do you feel the need to photo shop the pic and post it like it actually looks like that? FYI when you link a photo like that people can see you other photos as well.
Haha! Good catch. Thats some impressive photoshop skills. Luke33. I heard cornbred is hiring.

Dang, didn't know Nancy Drew was on here! First I don't appreciate you going into my photobucket account and posting my pics, secondly that was a daylight only pic from a month and a half ago when I was battling cyno, you can see it around the base. I would be happy to post a shot currently with all daylight. I even posted the pic above was under t5 and blue led. So let me get you your daylight pic to make you all happy. But pretty weak move on your part. Pretty sure it's against forums policy as well.

Lol mine is a daylight pic with 20k Radiums from the top. Taken with iPhone 6s with zero alterations other than cropping. yours is clearly altered. Even under strong blue LEDs it wouldn't look like that. Just don't see the need for you to be changing the color like you clearly did. But hay whatever floats your boat.

Ha ha ha ha, busted.... That's some funny stuff there! If u don't want anybody looking at ur photos u shouldn't post a pic with a link when u click on it.

Ok, for Nancy Drew, unaltered pure daylight, zero led

And this is the unaltered photo with t5 and blue led like posted originally : ) I left a red planet in there just so you can see normal red planet colors. And fwiw i don't even own photoshop. It is just insulting that you suggest i altered a pic as i'm not trying to sell anything and have been part of this forum for 8yrs now, never been called a "liar".

Here's a couple of pics of my small frag.
I agree that this coral is very finicky as I've almost lost it twice now to RTN from alkalinity swings. The tips that survive will regrow back down the skeleton with a glowing green edge.
The frag was a brown/magenta when I bought it and it stayed that color for about ten months. After I added a couple T5 bulbs to supplement my Radions, BAM!!! Rainbow colors showed up!

Looks legit to me. Its amazing how much Blues/LED can make a coral pop. Might look even better in person. This is why my favorite time of the day to view the tank is when the main lights are off and just the LEDs and blue t5 on as it dims down.

Looks great! When it's happy it's a great piece.

i take my previous comment back. this looks legit. great coloration on the red planet as well. can i ask you your basic tank info: what lights, what filtration, and if you dose anything? what do you keep your alk, nitrate and phosphate at. thanks.
