I have this on one of my tanks. It’s so far so good!Cord Management has never been my strong suit. I’m terrible at it. But my New Year’s Resolution is to correct that.
I ordered the one from post #6.
Thanks Chichlid Dad. Hopefully I can get this under control now.
I use these... they are metal, tough, can handle some water if it happes (when?) and the surge protector seems to be good. They also have long cords and don't get mad if I plug high wattage stuff into them.

Power surges and lightning strikes are not the only things that can damage your home workshop equipment. Simply switching your workshop tools on and off can create electrical imbalances that could cause cumulative, permanent damage to your valuable equipment.www.lenovo.com

Does it come with a fire extinguisher?Umm.......
I don't think I'd want to go to the basement to flip the circuit breaker all the time.Umm.......
Exactly what I was thinking! My circuit breaker is behind my drum kit. Ya have to move an 18" ride cymbal and work your way around the floor tom. NO!!!!I don't think I'd want to go to the basement to flip the circuit breaker all the time.
Glad I didn’t buy the house that had the breakers in the crawl space under the house. Can’t imagine tripping circuit and having to go outside, under the back porch and access a small door for the breaker box.Exactly what I was thinking! My circuit breaker is behind my drum kit. Oh, Good Lord. Yeah, when I bought this house we had a SMALL water heater under the house in the crawl space. Took me forever to find it! When it finally started leaking I thought for sure they'd have to cut a hole in the wall to get it out, but they managed it. We did not put the replacement there!Glad I didn’t buy the house that had the breakers in the crawl space under the house.
