Whats the best Putty or Glue for Live Rock Aquascaping??
I used the AquaStik Stone Grey but didnt set quick enough for me and didnt bind to the rock that good..
Thx!!

Not real thrilled with aquastick but I have been having sucsess by using superglue to hold it to the rocks.

Are you doing it dry or wet? Is the tank inhabited?

Marco makes a cement , and there’s a few two part epoxies out there. For out of the tank or while cycling.

Im doing it wet, I was thinking on trying Aquamax Reef welder or the Aquaforest Stone Fix??

Where can I buy the E-Marco 400?

I use JB water weld for putty. For glue, my hands down favorite is from ebay called coraladdiction super glue, very good stuff, cheap and doesnt dry out.

Oh shoot, thought you were talking glue and epoxy for frags. Disregard comment above. E marco is great stuff for aquascaping.

I used the NYOS reef cement. Its works pretty good under water. the catch with the NYOS is you have to mix it to a perfect consistency or it just completely crumbles in the water column. If you use it out of the water, it good stuff.

For dry, I used Jurassic Gel and a spray accellerant. It worked fantastically.

E-Marco 400 is my recommendation. I used it in my tank and it holds a 15lb rock at a 90 degree no problem.
Have a build thread I would like to see that rock work [emoji849]

FYI, my way of dealing with the LR issue:
This may seem a bit nuts, but I drill holes in the LR and take white plastic clothes hangers, cut them in pieces and stack the LR any way I please.
The cool thing is, It can be taken apart anytime, re-scaped, and holes not used fit frag plugs perfectly.
I have been doing this for many, many years without any bad effects on livestock, water parameters, or any testable problematic possibilities.
FYI, My own DIY. No glue, No putty, no worries and have never had an avalanche. LOL

For out of the tank adhesiin, I have used Nyos reef cement.
Works and holds just like every off reef cement.
Keep in mind that it dries dark grey.
