Old FTS and pics, but I haven't kidnapped my sis in a while to use her DSLR, especially now that I actually kinda know what settings to use! The pics are really dark and purple, but it was late in the day and the white LEDs had already dimmed down for the day.

Palys that were 100% poop brown before I went on vacation a few months ago, I was gone for a week, and they looked like this when I came back.

Black sun coral (Tubastrea micrantha)

Leathers from Worldwide Corals.

Some zoas and palys.

Maxi-minis, almost exclusively from Morgan (Reef Gardener).

Snowflake clown from Fisheye Aquaculture.

Some acans. Most have grown 3-5 heads since the pic was taken.

I love each and every one of my fish.

Two of my mollies mating.

Anthias.

I love how I caught her right in the center of the camera lens reflection.

The black sun is learning to open up during the day, opens at 5:30PM sharp every day for feeding.

During my massive broadcast feed, my largest serpent star comes out of wherever he is hiding and chases down food, barreling over any clams in his way. lol

Found this little candy stripe pistol as a hitchhiker, from base rock and pre-bagged sand. what the heck.

And I lost my female clown today, in the hospital tank, before I even started the Cupramine.

I like the black sand, but I feed so heavily that detritus accumulates much more than normal. I kinda like the salt n pepper-ish look, though.

It's Tahitian Moon Sand, and it doesn't seem to be, at least all the times when I've dropped, say, an MP10 dry side into it.

If so, I have absolutely no idea. All I know is that they're pretty harmless and beneficial to sandbeds.




Lost another two fish today, my other clown and my kole tang, and my big slimer acro is almost done STN'ing. Le sigh.
