New toy.
All numbers were taken from the Apogee SQ-110 sensor, sun calibrated, connected to a digital multimeter. All results were taken in millivolts, multiplied by the correction factor for that wavelength (1.05 for NW, 1.38 for RB, 1 for OCW, and 2 for TV), and then multiplied by five to get the reading in micromols of PAR. All readings were at 100% on a single channel, calculated, then combined with the other channels.
LEDs are run
without lenses and approximately 15" from the water's surface at the time of measurements.
My tank looks like garbage. One of my issues with stuff dying was that my salinity was a bit... off. By the time I figured out my refractometer calibration fluid had evaporated out, my tank's salinity was somewhere around 50-60ppt. I did a 40g water change and added 10g of fresh water on top of that, and a week later it's sitting at 40ppt. I added 5g of water today, but most of that was evaporation, I've really been slacking. I have my glass for the new sump baffles, so I need to take the sump offline very soon to get that taken care of. Once I get my LED array done, I'm moving the tank.
I also ordered the rock to start on a new scape. New scape, new light, new sump. May just be the refresh I need.
