Seriously?! My local petco has maybe 5 awful marine tanks. In any case it was clearly fated that you save him. Real talk though I’d never seen a black lion before now. Sooo gorgeous. Hats off to you my friend. Is he eating okay?

Same with my in town petco, the kid knows nothing about fish. This one is about an hour away, but only 10 minutes from work, and honestly the nicest tanks I’ve seen. I’ve never seen a black lion either! The girl working offered to order me a red or a fuzzy. I said heck no I have to have him. He’s eating great! Has zero problem chasing down rosy minnows. I needed a social fish and after just a week he’s already following me from one side of the tank to the other

That’s beyond awesome. I’m planning on a dwarf fuzzy or fu Manchu once I get my display set up. I love lions. I’ve wanted one since I was 8 and got a petco or Walmart 20g freshwater system (can’t remember lol)

As for the thread, my impulse by? I bought my sump on impulse because I didn’t trust myself to cut the glass and install it without breaking the 40g I now use as my qt. I got my oceanic 120g, stand, and 40g breeder for a crazy good deal. But the previous owner had only had a wet dry sump. I’m planning a refugium. Thus, bought a pro clear sump on a whim one day when I was bored and went to my LFS to look at the fish and dream about my tank lol
