So....for reasons i care not discuss, i'm building a new tank. I'm going from a 180 gallon with a 125 gallon sump, to a 60 cube with a 45 gallon sump. Actually kinda excited for this cause i've had bigger and bigger tanks in the past and it's gonna be interesting to go smaller.
Tank is a Deep Blue rimless cube 24x24x24 (60gal) with corner overflow, and low iron glass.
Building my own stand and floating canopy.
Sump is a 24x24x16 cube (45gal) - it will be divided up for a sock, skimmer, fuge and return.
Going with metal halide to start....LED's later. 400w radium 20k for bulb
2 reactors with biopellets and gfo.
1/4hp chiller
1 vortech mp40wes
return is a mag 5
Using some of the old equipment from the 180: ACII, BrS 2 part dosers, tlf reactors etc
Going with a sand bed of about 2" plus a sparse rock setup.

I see you're using a chiller, and my tank does get hot. Maybe this would be something for me to save for. I'm interested to see how it turns out and what corals you put in it and design inside. Will it be in a corner or centered on a wall? Guessing corner by pics...

Put the plywood in the bottom and plumbed up the sump. Put the baffles and divider in the sump as well. Skimmer looks huge in this little sump...LOL. I LIKE IT!! Gonna have to make a hanger of some sort for the reactors as the edge of the sump tank is too wide for them to hang on. Went with a mix of soft plumbing and hard on this tank for ease of moving it.....just in case
