Awesome! Can't wait!

Here is my daughters biocube. I had my LFS make some serious modifications to the tank. Removed back section, drilled tank and added nano overflow.

Thank you for the positive input on my tank. I'm usually nervous to post pics of it since everyone else's are so pretty

Biocube 29. Been running for years but was fallow for quite a while before it was given to me by a friend. It was all stock parts when I got it. Upgraded to a 16" WiFi Controlled SB reeflight fixture andhad a glass top cut. Added an Aqua Maxx HOB-1 skimmer and have a magnetic fuge light in the central compartment with some LR and cheato. Also use carbon, chemipure, and phosguard media. MP10 for circulation.

Livestock:
Fish: red firefish, bangaii cardinal, neon goby

Coral: frogspawn, 2 acans, duncan, 5 different montipora, green slimer, tri-color tort, hydnophora, birdsnest, stylophora, 2 chalices, fungia, blasto, leptoseris, gsp, zoa, mushrooms, ricordia yuma, branching cyphastrea, trumpet......whew! I think thats it.

Readjusting after moving it. Tried to avoid a recycle...but failed. Sligjt melting or burns on hard corals..but it's all coming back slowly.

Update on this one?

Not much to update. Curing diy lr.
PH is at a consistant 8.0 but I still have a lot of stuff in the water even after two 100% weekly water changes. I hope to start cycling the tank within 2-3 weeks.

Here is our 6mnth old BioCube 14g.
Mods include:(Coralife BioCube skimmer, AIPrime LED lighting, BioHome Ultra Marine filter media in tank and in a 5g sump/refugium below.)

I included a photo of our Twin Spot Goby, and a neat macro photo of our Blue Helmet Fungia.

BearLee, this is exactly what I want to put over my Biocube 14 and I didn't want to remove the stock hood or go with an open top. How does this set up work for overall light coverage, do you have any dark spots in the tank that don't get any light? Also, how is the growth rate of your corals with the light installed this way?

My Coralife BC29, 2 weeks with inhabitants ( Flame Hawk, YTD, and Royal Gramma). First change I did was turn off the stock lights before the hideously noisy fans drove me completely nuts! Currently using a Current Orbit. Also put in an Aqualife Mini 115 skimmer which is working surprisingly well , and a DIY media rack. Wish I would have had it drilled before setting up, but my initial intentions were to KISS .
