Is that a faux anemone? I love it in your tank
Thank you! Yes it is a faux anemone, however I moved it into my 10 gallon tank FOWLR because the clowns decided they liked the Octospawn better. The clown in the 10 gallon is happy to have a nice new home.

So, I've noticed that this tank is really well enclosed (32g). Initially, I had my heater turned up too high and the water got up to 86 degrees. I thought I was going to have issues cooling the tank. I turned my heater off, and left the feed door open for a few days and now it's stable around 78 degrees. If I hadn't left the feed door open, I believe it would've stayed really warm in there. I've also had basically no evaporation so far (in a week and a half). The salinity has been perfectly stable and I haven't had to add any top off water.

No issue, I suppose, just curious if others have noticed this too. The no evaporation surprised me the most.
Yes I can go up to 2 weeks without adding water in my 32 its awesome! Lol

16 gallon biocube bare bottom with nanobox retro and diy algae scrubber in chamber #2. 1st reef tank and many errors in the first 2 years. Fought high phosphate until I went bare bottom but the worst error was not using a heater control. My cobalt heater wiped out most of my coral. The toadstool and the purple death plays was the only corals to survive. Now that the tank is stable, I'm trying out sps

You got directions to the algae scrubber?

You got directions to the algae scrubber?
There are some threads for a diy algea scrubber for a biocube 32. I just read them and cut 2 pieces of 1/8" thick plexiglass. 1 the exact length x width of the plastic strainer that come with the biocube. I cut a 1/2" wide slot in the center just longer than the mesh screen that I cut down to grow the algae. The bottom plexiglass is a tight fit and I have to use a 90° pick to extract it for cleaning it inside glass weekly. I another piece of plexiglass about 1/8" smaller on each side that holds the mesh screen. I just use zip ties in the top of the mesh screen to keep it from falling through the slot. The slot for the top piece of plexiglass was started at being only about 1/8" thick. I found that it was too thin for the gravity waterfall once the algae started to grow so that width will be trial and error. I'm guessing I'm close to 1/4" wide. Keep the mesh length to almost the bottom and it will be dead silent.
